Our Story

Serving Veterans With Heart.

Founded in 2020, Humanity Against Hunger was built on the belief that every veteran deserves dignity — starting with a meal.

How It Started

Born From a Calling to Give Back

Humanity Against Hunger was founded in 2020 in Riverside County, California — born from a deep conviction that the men and women who sacrificed for our country should never have to worry about where their next meal comes from.

What started as a small community effort has grown into a full-scale nonprofit operation, hosting food drives on major holidays throughout the year — Thanksgiving, Christmas, Veterans Day, and more — delivering meals and food boxes directly to low-income and unhoused veterans and their families.

Today, we proudly serve communities across both Riverside and Los Angeles Counties, powered entirely by the generosity of donors and the dedication of our volunteers.

Community Recognition

Grateful for Every Act of Kindness

The gratitude we receive from veterans and families reminds us every day why this work matters. From handwritten thank-you notes to community recognition, the love we get back fuels everything we do.

What We Stand For

Our Core Values

Kindness

Every meal we serve is given with genuine warmth and respect. We believe that how you give matters just as much as what you give.

Compassion

We see the whole person — not just the need. Our volunteers are trained to serve with dignity and empathy at every food drive.

Generosity

Community giving multiplies impact. When neighbors show up for neighbors, we can feed more families and reach more veterans.

Honor

Veterans gave everything for this country. We honor that sacrifice by ensuring no veteran or their family goes without a meal.
